About NMPW
The Non-Motorized Pedestrian Walkway (NMPW) is a strategic Lagos urban mobility, public-realm regeneration, pedestrian safety, and Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) and Commercial Infrastructure initiative designed to transform under-utilised under-bridge spaces into safe, accessible, commercially viable and operationally managed pedestrian corridors integrated with Lagos rail and bus transport systems.
The current NMPW Links are located at:
- Oyingbo
- Yaba
- Mushin
- Ikeja
LAMATA is the primary transport authority, providing corridor integration and strategic oversight. NMPW is aligned with LAMATA mobility integration objectives along the Red Line corridor.
